Supaglass Industries will feature as the naming rights partner on Cameron Hill’s Supercar at the upcoming round in New Zealand.
An existing major partner of Matt Stone Racing, Supaglass branding has featured on both MSR Supercar bonnets for the past two seasons.
The Canberra-based glass manufacturer will step up to naming rights backer of Car #4 at the ITM Taupō Super400, as Supercars returns to New Zealand.
The predominantly black and white livery is also a nod to the official colours of New Zealand and the Stone family’s Kiwi background.
Hill started the 2024 season strong with a career-best fifth in the opening race of the year and continues to show he has made a big step up in his second Supercars campaign.
“I’m a big fan of the Supaglass Industries livery that we are running on Car 4 at Taupo,” said Team Owner, Matt Stone.
“It’s fantastic to be going back across the ditch and bringing Supercars racing back to the Kiwi fans.
“Cam has had a speedy start to the year, so we’re aiming to keep that momentum up heading into Taupo and hopefully have both cars up there fighting at the front and adding to the race win tally.”
“The Supaglass Supercar looks awesome for New Zealand,” said Hill.
“Supaglass is a local Canberra company on the rise and has been a major part of my racing career the past few years, developing into a great partnership with not only myself but also the MSR team.
“I’m looking forward to racing across the ditch at Taupo, the Kiwi fans are super passionate!
“From the preparation we have done, it is a very technical track with tight corners and mixed surfaces, so it will be interesting to see how the races play out with tyre degradation and all the unknowns.
“The car is going to look great on track, so hopefully we can bring home some great results in front of the Kiwi fans.”
“Here at Supaglass, we are pumped to take our partnership with MSR to the next level and have the full naming rights on Cameron’s car in NZ,” said Steve Bates.
“We have been supporting Cameron for a few years now, and it has been brilliant to see his progression in Supercars.
“There are a lot of similarities in the core values and goals of Supaglass and MSR, so the two are very closely aligned in ways that extend beyond the partnership.
“One thing both have in common is that we are all very passionate about going racing, so I’m excited to get to New Zealand and see the car on-track.”.
MSR is fresh off the back of a race win at Albert Park, where Hill’s team-mate Nick Percat broke-through against the Triple Eight cars.
Taupo is a brand-new venue on the Supercars calendar, with Round 4 of the season set to take place from April 19-21.
