Cameron Hill’s new chassis has completed a successful shakedown ahead of the 2025 Supercars Championship season.
MSR-006 made its on track debut at Queensland Raceway on Thursday for its permitted 60km of running.
The team performed completed all systems checks and were also able to log some meaningful running, despite the threat of rain.
Car #4 took to the track in its newly unveiled Supaglass Racing livery.
“It was a very good day, as far as shakedowns go — we got out on time at the very start of the day,” said Hill.
“I think the worst part of our day was just one of our wheel speed sensors; other than that it was a full ground-up build and the car ran faultlessly.
“That’s a massive credit to the boys in the shop.
“We’ve got a bolstered line-up this year with some new additions and I feel like the whole quality of the organisation is on the rise.
“We just got into some solid running, the run plan that we were hoping to get through, and the changes.
“I’ve got Caleb Mutsaerts working with me now as well as Paul Forgie, he’s still very much involved, and that whole dynamic was working really good.
“It’s nice to start developing that language.”
All teams will get a full day of running at the official Supercars pre-season test day on Tuesday, February 18 at Sydney Motorsport Park.
